Emotional Courage Journey

Emotional intelligence is the practice of understanding E-Motion: Energy in Motion. It is the capacity to recognize & understand our feelings in the present moment amid the barrage of distractions, challenges, & experiences we encounter every day. Emotions are like our “cheat code” to understanding our reactions to our experiences, and the reactions of those around us.

My healing work in Emotional Recovery is anchored in Ancestral Indigenous Knowledge systems and practices. This practice of blending thinking and feelings, or head and heart, is also a scientifically validated function of the human brain. Emotional awareness also helps us to understand those patterns of behavior that keep us in the loop of stress, shame, & guilt. Being wise with feelings” helps individuals effectively communicate what is truly needed for them to thrive in personal & professional partnerships, as well as in our communities. 

Studying the story of our emotions helps us become more aware, more intentional, and more purposeful as we journey together down the path of generational healing, supporting us in our birthright to peace and wellbeing.
